What is ice yarn and arctic foam technology?

IIce Yarn is a fabric with proprietary composition which helps with sleep as it stays cooler to the touch during the 30 minutes of contact. We've done lab tests performed on this which corresponds to Stage 1 and Stage 2 of a sleep pattern.

Arctic foam is a gel infused foam which help with heat dissipation since the gel absorb faster the heat from neighbouring memory foam.

Which mattress is right for me?

The short answer is - it depends. If you are interested in a more traditional style, you might want to consider our Hunter, our hybrid mattress with pocket coil springs and cool gel memory top . If you tend to feel warm at night, Sofie is your best bet; the combination of the arctic foam technology in the memory foam on the inside and the ice yarn on the outside will keep you cool. Is your dog bed waterproof?

Our dog bed is covered with an ultra tough, but still soft to the touch, fabric that will keep out dirt and hair but water may get through. In the event of a mess, the cover can be easily removed and tossed in the washer and dryer. The foam can be spot-cleaned and left to air-dry.

How many boxes do I need for Sofi Sofa?

The number of boxes is different for everyone. You always need a box A. Depending on how wide you want your Sofi Sofa to be, you can add B-boxes.

How many Seats can be combined in Sofi Sofa?

You can combine any number of seats. Because all the individual seats are supported by their own legs, you don’t need to worry about the stability of your Sofi Sofa.

How does something so large fit in such a small the box?

All of our mattresses are safely compressed into a box without sacrificing quality. Not only does this allow for a more compact box to be able to fit into small spaces but it also reduces packaging which reduces the carbon footprint on the environment and your wallet.

Selling directly online, no bricks and mortar store with high rent, salespeople, reduces the costs and cuts out the middleman. We are able to reduce our shipping costs by vacuum packing all our products. This way we are able to provide you with a superior product at a reasonable price.

Where can the mattresses be tested before buying them?

In the comfort of your own home. Statistically, lying on a bed for four minutes has no correlation to whether it's the right bed for you.

Will I be charged any interest or hidden fees?

No, if you place an order, we do not add any processing or hidden fees on top. You would pay the same amount as if you had not selected the installment plan.

Do I need to do a credit check to qualify for the splitIt financing program?

No, we simply reserve the amount on your card as collateral.

How do I use a discount code?

To use a promo code, enter it in the ‘Discount’ field when you complete your purchase. You can only use one discount code per purchase and a new discount code is not valid with a return. Discount codes not applicable for Hush Blankets or Philip Stein bracelets.
I forgot to add my discount code, now what do I use a discount code?
As long as you have your order # handy, send us a message and we will take care of it.

What happens if I lose my credit card, or have some problem with my credit card?

You will need to contact us to change the card number. If you do not provide us with a new card within a few days, the entire amount of remaining balance will be charged onto your card.

As we prefer to donate as many exchanges or returns as possible, we strongly recommend using a mattress protector during your in-home trial so, in the event of a return or exchange, your mattress will be in donatable condition.

What does made in green by oeko-TEX mean?

Made in Green by OEKO-TEX® is an independent textile label for highlighting consumer products and semi-finished products at all levels of the textile chain that are made from materials tested for harmful substances and that have been manufactured by using environmentally friendly processes and under safe and socially responsible working conditions.

The "Made in Green by OEKO-TEX®" label replaces both the current OEKO-TEX® Standard 100plus and the Spanish green seal "Made in Green by Aitex”

Basically, any finished textile items and semi-finished products at all levels of the textile supply chain can be granted the Made in Green by OEKO-TEX® label, including all kinds of items of clothing and furnishings.

Are the foams fire retardant?

By law in the State of California it is a requirement. A sock is placed in the mattress and it is chemically-treated. The fire barrier sock is made of 180-200g/m2 one end fiberglass filament and one end spun modacrylic fiber closed with kevlar thread stitching. Fire socks are designed to melt in the presence of fire.

Do the mattresses smell?

The usual “new product” smell should dissipate after a couple of hours. We use CertiPUR-US® certified polyurethane foams to ensure your safety.

What do I do with my old mattress?

You can book a mattress or boxspring removal by clicking here. The price includes the removal of a single item. Contact us if you have additional items that need removing.

How do I set up my mattress?

Open the box, unroll and place the mattress on the surface of your choice. Remove the plastic. Watch in amazement as the bed begins to re-inflate to its original size. Feel free to sleep on your mattress right away but be aware it takes up to 72 hours for complete expansion. Do not attempt to put the mattress back in the box. It simply will not fit.

How long will it take for my mattress to re-inflate?

Once you’ve removed the mattress from the box it takes approximately 3-5 minutes to decompress 95% and then within 72 hours the other 5%. Please allow 72 hours for full expansion.

What do I do with the empty sleepenvie box?

After you create a night table or dog house, please recycle responsibly and if you do build something awesome don't forget to tag us on social media with hashtag #sleepenvie.

Does the mattress work on a platform, slats or box spring?

They work with any surface. If you want a box spring, ours is awesome! Our_BRIENNE BASE combines functions of a mattress foundation and bed frame to create a contemporary stand-alone platform bed. It can sit directly on floor using attached feet, or on separate bed frame for higher profile. Can be used with or without headboard.

Can I use any of your mattresses on an adjustable base?

Yes, as long as the base is compatible with foam mattresses.

Do all your mattresses have warranties?

Yes, all of our mattresses have a 20-year warranty. For all other products, please look at the individual warranty details here because they vary.

Do you offer white glove service?

Where do I unbox my mattress?

Be sure your mattress is in the room you would like it to be set up in before you open the box. Once the mattress is decompressed, it will be harder and more cumbersome to move.

Where do you ship sleeper sofas?

We ship all across North America but unfortunately do not ship our sofa sleepers to Quebec at this time.

Do I have to install Sofi Sofa myself?

Shipping & Delivery

How much does shipping cost?

We cover the cost of shipping throughout North America. Please note that there will be a $75 handling fee if the merchandise is refused upon delivery.

When will I receive my product?

We estimate that the bed will take 5-10 business days from order date to when it reaches your doorstep, depending on where you're located. Once shipped, you’ll receive an email notification with your tracking number.

How do I track my order?

When your order has been filled and shipped, you will receive a tracking number. After you receive this tracking number, please direct all questions and concerns to the third party shipper (FedEX, UPS, etc.).

Returns & Exchanges

How does your 100-night return policy work?

We will provide you with a full refund of the money spent on your mattress if you are not completely satisfied with your sleeping experience within the first one hundred (100) nights of mattress delivery. Additionally, we will arrange for a free pickup from a local charity or recycling partner the removal of your mattress if you elect to return it. Once the mattress has been picked up, you will receive the refund. You may only have two (2) mattresses returned per household or shipping address. Any mattress that has been resold, gifted or transported outside of Canada or the continental United States are not eligible for return.

Does the 100-night return policy apply to all sleepenvie products?

No. The 100-night return policy applies to our mattresses only.

Does the 100-night return policy apply to phillip stein products?

No. The trial period for all Philip Stein products is 60 days.

How do I begin the process if I need to return or exchange a product?

To begin the process, send us an email at info@sleepenvie.com. Please include your name, order number and reason for return and we will be happy to help. If it’s a mattress you are returning, we will have picked up by a local charity and donated or have it recycled. If you have any other Sleepenvie product, we will send you a prepaid shipping label so you can ship your item back to us free of charge. If you have a Philip Stein item, you can ship to the address we provide you at your own expense. Once the item is donated or received, your refund is issued.

What happens to my returned products?

We do not resell returned products. All returned mattresses are donated to a local charity or recycled. All other products are donated or recycled based on condition.

Do you allow exchanges?

Yes, we want to make sure you get the perfect product for YOUR lifestyle and sleep habits, even if that means trying again. We allow for two returns per household within the 100-night trial period.

Sleeper returns policy

You may ask for a return for most new and unopened Sofa Sleepers within 30 days of delivery. Sleepenvie will issue a full refund if the item is in new, unused, and contains all of the original materials included with the shipment. Sleepenvie is not responsible for the cost and or fees of the return shipping when you return a Sofa Sleeper for any of the following reasons :
  • -You refuse a delivery without inspection
  • -You miss a delivery appointment
  • -You return a non-defective or undamaged product.
Sleepenvie will inspect in detail all sleepers returned to our warehouse. We will provide a partial refund of the purchase price if the returned item is not in its new, original and unopened condition. The amount of the partial refund depends on the condition of the sofa sleeper determined by our sole discretion. Additionally, we reserve the right to deduct the return shipping fee, which generally ranges from $100 to $695 or more (depending on size and weight), if the Sofa Sleeper is not in its original condition upon arrival back at our warehouse.*By purchasing a Sleeper you authorize Sleepenvie.com and/or its Carriers to assess additional fees to your credit card, as necessary, according to the fee schedule described here. We may deduct original and return shipping costs from your refund or otherwise charge them to your credit card after we receive the return product back at our warehouse.

What do I do If my order Is damaged or defective?

If the return is a result of damage or defect, we will provide a full refund fo rthe cost of the merchandise as well as shipping fees. In the event that any of these occur, all details of the damage or defect need to be clearly noted on all copies of the Delivery Receipt upon your inspection during your delivery in order for us to aid you with a return or replacement. In addition, we must be notified within 24 hours.Please, DO NOT SIGN the Bill of Lading until you have inspected the item. Also, please do NOT wait to inspect the item. By signing for your delivery without noting the problem with your shipment on the delivery paperwork, you confirm your Sofa Sleeper was delivered to you with no damage or defect. For delivery services requiring a signature:
  • -All damage and defects must to be recorded on all copies of the delivery receipt and/or a Bill of Lading and reported to Sleepenvie Customer Service within 24 hours.
  • -If the item is severely damaged, note the Bill of Lading “Refused Due to Damage”.
  • -Please make sure you thoroughly inspect your item while the carrier is still at your home. Any damages/defects MUST BE NOTED upon signing for the delivery.*For delivery services that do not require a signature, please inspect the item right away for any damages. If damage is found, please contact Sleepenvie within 24 hours of delivery. Damage or Defects found after Delivery and Inspection If your shipment does not appear to have any damages or defects upon delivery, but you notice damage or a defect after the carrier leaves, immediately contact Sleepenvie.com to report the situation in detail.

Take note of the following details:
  • -Package condition
  • -How it was received (left at front door, signed for), and description of the damage.

Please do the following:
  • -Take several pictures showing the affected area(s).
  • -DO NOT discard any of the shipping box or packing materials.
  • -DO NOT discard the product itself because it may be necessary for the carrier to inspect the item and report on the damage.
  • -DO NOT ship the item back to Sleepenvie.com without first being instructed to do so. Failure to comply may result in denial of a damaged item claim per the shipping carrier’s claims guidelines.Sleepenvie will contact the carrier to have the item picked up. The carrier will call you to make an appointment for the pickup, usually within 24 to 48 business hours.
By signing for your delivery without noting the problem with your shipment on the delivery paperwork, you confirm your Sleeper was delivered to you with no damage or defect.

What is the warranty of Sofi Sofa?

We’re sure of the Sofi’s quality, so your new sofa comes with a 10-year warranty.

What is the trial period for Phillip Stein or Hush products?

The trial period for all Philip Stein and Hush products is 60 days.

Product Care

How can the mattress be cleaned if it gets dirty?

We recommend you invest in a mattress protector. If your mattress does get dirty gently dab and spot clean with a mild detergent.

How else can I care for my mattress?

Rotate it every six months to help maintain its shape.

Can I use a heating pad on my mattress?

Sure, turn on the heat, go crazy.

How can a sleeper sofa be cleaned if it gets dirty?

Regular vacuuming with a soft upholstery attachment and occasional brush, such as a nylon lint brush will help to remove soil and prevent the embedding of dirt and grime between fibers which can increase abrasion and wear. This will keep microfiber looking crisp and new. Avoid exposing sets to direct sunlight which may cause the fading of colors. Attend to spots as soon as possible. Don’t wait for stubborn stains to build up. Stains and spills should be removed immediately. Use a wet cloth with tepid water and mild soap. Be careful not to rub in and spread the stain. Note: do not use solvents, bleach or cleaners with high PH solutions, as they will permanently discolor and/or damage leather and fabric.
