Our list, paired with hot chocolate, blankets and snacks, will warm the heart on those chilly evenings. There's a little something for every mood, so curl up and enjoy! Action.

Girly: Me Before You (2016)

Me Before You

This adorable British rom-com has 'The Mother of Dragons,' Emilia Clarke, in a quirky loveable role. It's an unlikely love story with a twist that will have you laughing, crying, hoping and wondering. It's an absolute tear-jerker, so keep the Kleenex handy. But, a beautiful story in the end.

Funny: Mike & Dave Need Wedding Dates (2016)

Adam DeVine, Zak Effron and Anna Kendrick; need I say more? Essentially, it's the tale of the misadventures of two wild, hard-partying brothers finding 'respectable' dates to their beloved sister's Hawaii wedding at the request of their family to keep them from 'riling each other up.' Hilarious. Think: the Hangover + Neighbors on a beach with four-wheelers. The kicker, it's based on a true story!

Dramatic/Pensive: Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind (2004)

If you are in the mood for a movie that will make you think, Eternal Sunshine ponders the question: is it better to have loved and lost than to have ever loved at all? Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet give a beautiful and deeply thought provoking performance that challenges our idea possibly and the resilience of love.

Action Packed: the Nice Guys (2016)

Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe play an unlikely (and reluctant) crack team of private detectives. Gosling isn't an actor I would necessarily have imagined as a brilliant physical comedy actor but, he is absolutely hysterical as the bumbling well-intended loveable alcoholic! The case the team are working involves a missing woman and the death of a porn star so, as you can imagine, their investigation is colourful, to say the least. The movie overall is packed with skin, excitement, explosions, guns, card, booze, laughs and an awesome 1970's vibe.

Classic: Viva Las Vegas (1964)

This Hollywood classic starring Elvis Presley set in the Las Vegas dessert heat is sure to warm you up on a chilly night! It's about the life and times of race car driver Lucky Jackson (Elvis) leading up to his Grand Prix race. There is a love interest (Anne Margaret), some engine trouble, and a few bumps along the way, but it's a fun, feel-good flick all around! Oh, and the dancing... lol.
