Sleepenvy Sanitation

Sleepenvy Sanitation

After you've purchased a Sleepenvie product, you quickly become accustomed to the comfortable relaxing lifestyle that we at Sleepenvie promote! That fresh new pillow feeling, the sound slumber from a new mattress, the almost impossible comfort you get on of our sleeper models; all this to say that Sleepenvie products provide a certain lifestyle, and we want you to maintain said lifestyle! Below we're going to cover best practices to clean, sanitize and maintain our Sleepenvie lineup items so that they can satisfy your comfort needs for years to come!

Mattress Cleaning

Our complete lineup of mattresses upon their design was backed with ears of sleep science and was created by experts with years of experience. From the bottom support layer of foam to the external mattress wrap, each Sleepenvie mattress is crafted to provide optimal sleep and support for the user and it's important you maintain them to always get your best rest! The first thing you're going to maintain is any bedding you use to accompany your Sleepenvie. For best results, we recommend you wash your sheets and pillowcases on delicate. A good fabric softener is always a good idea too! If you want that always fresh feeling and scent we also recommend you use a lavender scented dryer sheet, this should bring a sense of peace and serenity when in an aromatic scent. Now moving onto the mattress, your first step is to vacuum the outside of the mattress, top bottom, and sides. This will get rid of any dust, dander, or any other small particles that made their way through your sheets. After this is done, from the bottom of your mattress, unzip the cover and remove, (if your model does not have a removable cover, simply skip this step).  Don't put the vacuum away yet, it is always good practice to vacuum the mattress under the cover as well, dust bunnies are very invasive and its best not to piss any. After the cover is off, if there are any stains on your mattress cover, spot clean with a stain remover before spot cleaning the whole cover with warm soap and water, be sure not to use too much soap, we put a lot of effort into constructing ultra-soft and sometimes ice yarn woven mattress covers. After this is done you almost are too! Simply air dry your mattress cover before putting it back on! (hang it in the sun for fastest and freshest results).

Pillow Cleaning

When it comes to Slepeenive pillows, the cleaning process is very similar to our mattresses. First, remove your pillowcases and wash and dry those, fabric softeners and lavender dryer sheets are still a good idea, your senses will thank you after jumping into bed every night! The difference in cleaning our pillows vs our mattresses is our two models of pillows are going to have slightly different cleaning processes. The Skyler pillow is a bit more delicate since it has a thick layer of cooling gel ice yarn. With the Skyler, you're going to want to vacuum the outside, remove the cover, and vacuum inside the cover, as well as on the outside of the internal core. The memory foam internal of the Skyler has a soft poly wrap on it and It's best to get any dust that may have trapped itself. After this, the Skyler cover can be spot cleaned with warm soap and water, and a stain remover if necessary. After that you're done, just put the cover back on and wait for your sheets to come out of the dryer. The FOMO pillow is made up of shredded microfoam, so you're going to want to avoid taking this one apart. Start by vacuuming the outside of the pillow but make sure the case is tightly zipped! If not, any lose foam could be eaten by your vacuum and no one likes to lose pillow support! After that, spot clean your FOMO with soap and water and let it air dry in the sun for the best results.

Sleeper Cleaning

Our sleeper sofas are much more substantial home goods, but luckily, just like they're built-in sleeper functions, they're design and cleaning regiments are constructed to be convenient! Obviously you can't just throw one in the dryer, but even if you could you wouldn’t have to! All of our sleepers are wrapped in a series of durable materials, meaning a quick vacuum and spot clean is all your sleepers will ever need. The most dust and debris buildup is going to occur under your sleeper, or in-between your love and chaise if you chose a sectional. We recommend you moving the sleeper, vacuuming under where it was, and then simply moving it back. If you want a quicker and less demanding solution, you can open the sleeper and from the side of the pullout bed, you'll be able to reach under the sofa section. It's also a good idea to vacuum in the cracks of the cushions to get any left behind crumbs from your movie night snack sessions.

Dog Bed Cleaning

We pride our Jaxon Dog Bed for being one of the best dog beds out there in terms of comfort, style, and convenience. We all know dogs are going to be a bit more careless with their mattress cleanliness, so we designed the Jaxon to have an ultra-easy cleaning process. All you have to do is remove the cover, toss it in the wash, and air dry for best results! If you really want to spoil your pup, we heard most dogs like an afternoon turndown service. Just toss a milk bone in their bed sometime before you go to bed and you're good to go!
