Last week, Sleepenvie helped kick off the Toronto International Film Festival weekend by hosting a film-inspired brand activation at the NKPR IT House.
With this activation, we paid homage to one of our favourite cult classic films, Mean Girls, by bringing to life a modern take on Regina George’s bedroom, complete with a few key touches from the film like the infamous Burn Book and a Kalteen bar.
Guests interacted with the activation by jumping in bed for an awesome photo opp with the props we provided. We captured some of our guests favourite moments with the help of Snaptique’s Boomerang station, a Fujifilm Instax camera for a take-home souvenir and, of course, our guest’s own phones.

We built our ‘set’ from the ground up with expert assistance from Mawg Design.
Once our walls were up, Nest Design Studio’s principal interior designer, Natalie Chong, styled the bedroom with gorgeous furniture from ELTE MKT, our Hunter mattress, FOMO pillows and Jaxon dog bed, lux bedding from Homesense and topped our vanity with products from OGX.
We look forward to our upcoming beauty sleep activation at Toronto’s Startup Fashion Week in October. Hope to see you there!
